Carlos Longo

Carlos Longo has been the Director of Energy Regulation and Trading of SPIC Brasil since August 2019. A graduate in Metallurgical Engineering from USP and with an Executive MBA from Insper, Carlos has a deep knowledge of the Brazilian electrical industry and has more than 20 years of experience in energy marketing and regulatory affairs. He also participated and actively contributed in the implementation, development and consolidation of the Energy Management, Marketing and Regulation areas of AES Brazil. Carlos was a member of the Board of ABEEólica (Associação Brasileira de Energia Eólica [Brazilian Association of Wind Energy]) and APINE (Associação Brasileira dos Produtores Independentes de Energia Elétrica [Brazilian Association of Independent Electric Energy Producers]) and has been with CCEE and AES since 1999.
