Smart Energy Solutions
Through a partnership with Cepel (which stands for Electric Energy Research Center), SPIC Brasil seeks to develop a project for Smart Energy solutions. The project aims to evaluate and integrate projects already developed by SNPDRI, a subsidiary of SPIC China for technology development, and promote the exchange of experiences.
On 11/26/2020, the Cepel/SPIC Brasil cooperation agreement was signed, with the presence of authorities from both countries. The expectation is that, starting in 2021, the definition of the main themes to be studied will be initiated by technical delegations from Brazil-China and China-Brazil.
In 2021, we are seeking to implement innovative solutions on sites in Brazil, based on assessments and studies arising from exchanges between the two research centers.
Location: (research centers, agencies and public spaces) under evaluation, based on the technical studies to be carried out.
Duration: 2 years (study, technical project and pilot implementation).

Energy trading
Approved in 2018 and running in 2019, the project is focused on the study of changes in the free energy market scenario, such as the hourly settlement price of differences (PLD).
Mexilhão-dourado (Golden mussel)
A project in cooperation with two companies from the industry and the partners Bio Bureau and Hubz. It seeks to find ways to structurally combat the population growth of the golden mussel in the hydrographic basins of Brazil.
Monitoring of
gases in transformers
Approved in 2019 and carried out in partnership with the University of São Paulo (USP), the project combines telecommunication tools for the analysis and monitoring of gases in transformers.
